BENEFITS
OF AN ORANGE COUNTY
INFRARED INSPECTION
Infrared thermography
as a non-invasive
diagnostic tool allows
the thermographer to
diagnose problems with
the building envelop.
Infrared inspections
benefit the client by
providing real time data
to determine defects
that can lead to
equipment failure,
energy loss, or negative
environmental impact.
Our Orange County
infrared inspection
program can provide you
with a return on
investment at a 20:1
ratio. During an ongoing
infrared inspection your
inspector will quickly
and accurately locate
heat loss, pinpoint
damaged, missing or wet
insulation, broken
pipes, hot spots in
electrical panels and
wiring. Using state of
the art technology your
thermograph is able to
diagnose potential
problems before they
become big problems -- $aving
you time and money!
ENERGY
& HEAT LOSS
Orange County
infrared thermography is
the most important and
cost effective element
of any electrical
maintenance program. A
skilled and
knowledgeable
thermographer will
thoroughly inspect
electrical panels which
can detect electrical
failures long they
happen saving down time,
equipment costs and
increasing personnel
productivity and safety.
PLUMBING
An infrared scan can
detect plumbing leaks in
a concrete slab floor,
radiant floor heating,
drywall ceilings and
walls. When it comes to
renovation, use infrared
to save from having to
destroy the entire room
by pinpointing the
problem.
MOISTURE
INTRUSION
Early detection can
prevent major problems
such as wood rot,
termites, beetles, and
MOLD. The infrared
camera does not see
mold, but moisture. The
temperature difference
between the surrounding
building material and
the spot of the anomaly
is where the certified
inspector thermograph
will check with a
moisture meter and or a
borescope. If the spot
is found to have
moisture intrusion then
your inspector may take
an inner wall air sample
to send to the
laboratory for mold
testing. Upon receiving
lab results remediation
may be recommended.
Early detection can save
your home and the health
of your family.
